Running the Eibach Sportlines and standard shocks on my car without issue, not really noticed any difference to the ride quality...quick pic too lol.

 :tongue: thats gorgous mate , yours was probably stiffer to start with so im feeling it more cos its not a gti suspension setup

Ah sorry assumed you had a GTi too, I would suspect the standard Gti shocks are slightly shorter than other models so ride slightly smoother.

Yours is looking great too  :cool:

eibach sportline i think they were pal

got sportlines on mine and it only lowered the car around 15-20mm front and back

i would probably say the ride comfort would be worse on OEM dampers but usually eibachs ride very well so i guess its a combination of the 19's and lowering the car.

ive got bilsteins on mine and the car rides beautifully. very good stuff

Definately because its got the 19's and the amount you have gone down.  The standard shocks will be under so much pressure, i know its not the same but when I had my old punto down 35mm it was horrendous but when it had coilovers it was lower but the ride was better.

By the way, fair play on the GTI replica, looks really smart.
