N75 noise
« on: 08 September 2012, 09:59 »
Heya guys wondering if you could possibly shed some light on this fault.

Got an AGU lump in my mk3, however having an issue with my N75.

After idling around 30secs starts making a chapping/tappety noise from the n75. Then if you give it small bit of throttle goes away then comes back pritty quickly. Also noticed the actuator on the turbo only moves at around 5/6 k is this normal? As would of thought around 3.5k.

Iv tried a S/H unit with same letter code butt still the same.

Running a custom map with around 1.4 bar iv been told by the tuner. Engine only got going this week so havnt been out in it yet really. Thanks for any advice

Are you still running a charcoal canister?

Are you still running a charcoal canister?

Just the standard mk3 one, but its only conected to the fuel tank breather pipe. Theres no spare pipes not connected etc
