Door Cards 5dr - 3dr Difference?

Hi All,

Quick question.

I know that obviously the rear door cards from a 5dr are not going to fit a 3dr and vica versa....but what about the front ones? Are they the same size?

I have found a pair of front ones I want to buy for my 3dr Mk2 on Ebay, it doesn't specify what they have come out of but I think it is a 5 door (as one of the sellers other items is the rear left door card of the same type which has electric window holes etc, and therefore must be from a 5dr)

If the front ones are the same size and interchangeable I will buy them but I want to be sure first.

Does anyone know?

Im pretty sure they are not interchangeable, a 3dr door is a lot longer than a 5dr front door.
I've just measured my 3dr door card across the chrome strip, it reads 100cm in legnth... If someone measures their 5dr front card we'll know for sure!

Thought I had finally found what I was looking for as well! Think im going to buy the pair of rear 3dr ones and keep an eye out for the front cards. If I happen to find a full set then ill just end up with 2 sets of rear cards lol

X4MGS, im going to be taking my side strips off today and am expecting the grommets to turn to dust lol any chance we can sort out those parts weve been e-mailing about soon as im keen to start a bit of work on the car

5 Door are smaller BTW...

I have the Grommets in stock so not a problem...
