Recalibrating fuel gauge
« on: 07 September 2012, 17:55 »
Ok so yesterday I ran out of petrol in my new mk2 gti as the gauge is off, needle was just at the top of the red but apparently she was empty! Its not a huge problem as obviously I can just fill up before i hit the red, but I like when tngs work properly so was wondering if theres a way to recalibrate it?

Thanks in advance,

You need to remove the sender unit from tank and free it up
