afternoon people ,just a quick one .anyone got a 4motion ,and if so what do i need to look out for when buying as possibly goin to look at one the weekend ,any help greatly appreciated ,thanks   brett

look at service history to see if the haldex has been serviced an start it from cold an listen for chain rattle,they can be expensive to run aswell  :smiley: or lewy still has a low mileage 1 for sale in the classifieds

cheers mate ,what about the chains on these ive read online somewhere about them not being changed for lifetime of the car or is that if its not been abused  ?,sorry for all the questions just want to make sure i dont miss something obvious when looking at it ,brett

my last 1 had 185k on it when i sold it an it never had the chains done  :smiley: had everything else though,The actual chains arnt the weak point, the guides and tensioners are the parts that wear

excellent cheers or your help ,meant to be looking at one saturday 98k fsh ,and had service recently including haldex oil and filter ,seems pretty tidy but will find out when i get there i suppose ,unless anyone lives in leighton buzzard and wants to have a peek at it lol

alrite all again ,this is the one i had my eye on but has been on ebay 2/3 times now with no one buying it ,looks tidy enough ,whats peoples opinions,cheers brett

It's a bit of a crap advert which is probably why it hasn't sold.

Other than why he bought it/ wants to sell it, the seats and alloys it doesn't really say anything.

Find out mileage, previous owners, what works been done to it, is there any advisories from lot? Haldex service due?

Could be good for the money if you find out all the details.
