Ahh i see, thanks.

Surely it would of been easier for VW to have used an easier system i.e relay 1 for position 1 etc?

Had a bit of time this morning so looked at the rear of the fuse box and it seems the leads are in a completely different to the diagram.
I am tempted to remove all cables and replace as in the diagram.

Can someone confirm though that I am reading right and where the current red and green wires are connected (as in pic) it should be the 8 pin yellow block (on each side)?

Hi,
You're right.

I don't mean remove the actual leads though, just the blocks a reposition them in line with the diagram.

I've got an issue on partners mk2 with clicky dash, doesn't seem to be anything else as checked everything else, does your needle not move correctly/smoothly on the speedo, you don't think it's a dash or speedo cable like I believe it to be?
