What should i use for wing mirror adhesion?
« on: 06 September 2012, 10:04 »
Right ive just got a us drivers side wing mirror imported and the back of it is flat but looks like it should be stuck on some how.It is a genuine part and heated too so it has a couple of terminals on the back.

Before i whip my mirror off i want to have the stuff to hand to re fit the us one.
Im guessing behind the original mirror it is flat to allow you to stick it on.
Any ideas what i can use to stick it on with that will last forever and WONT fall off?Ive been waiting for this for a couple of months so dont want to lose it.

Thanks lads.

Use the sticky pads that are used to fix new No plates, If the mirror is meant to be held on with adhesive from the Factory, then this is how it would have been done...

Ah right.Ok Thom.I was concerned with them being foam type pads they might make the mirror stick out a bit?
