EVO mag have a short "Driven" review of the new Mk 7 1.4 TSi GT this month.
They give it 4/5 and say :-
- bigger than a Mk 6, more cabin & boot space
- up to 100kg lighter than the Mk 6 due to lighter body structure and lighter engines
- corners very competently, less understeer and body roll & slightly more agility (lighter)
- more fun than the new Audi A3
- remains the default hatchback - far more able all rounder than a Focus or Astra
- plenty of promise for the sportier models to come
