If ur talking about a K & N bolt on induction kit.. yeah these easy... Just take off the normal air box which is there and bolt the induction kit to whats left..

As for a K & N panel filter.. just remove the Paper filter and stick the new one in..

To be honest... IMO... Just replace the paper filter with a K & N one... or any other performance one.. The induction kit is just gonna suck in loads of hot air.. and on a 1.3 i wouldnt have said ur gonna have much of a performance gain.

when i put my GTI on a rolling road they guy told me to remove the K & N panel filter as it was making the car too free flowing (Breathing too much) and you couldnt get enough fuel in to equel it out..

I know the K & N panel filter or Induction kit will make a nice sound but best off leaving alone i recon.

Others may say different.. Ummmm
