New MK3 GTi owner
« on: 02 September 2012, 22:05 »
Hello everybody..

I just bought a 1995 MK3 Gti 16V.  I'm on my 8th VAG motor, coming from a Bora highline.. but have had everything from A2 1.4 TDi's to 4.2 V8 S6's.. couple of A4's and a few boras..

My latest machine is a 1995 5 Door Gti 16V in Twilight Violet.. has 135k on it and seems to be in good enough nick.. Has a few issues. pass front window gets stuck down, but will come up when using the remote fob.. Also sunroof is a bit tempormental, seems to stick open one minute then works fine..

Only pic I have so far.. clear sides ordered..

More to come.. looks like a good forum..

I just like cleaning.. Got a coat of colinite on Sunday morning.  It is good and genuine though.. not many marks on it.. It even has the original Sony instructions sealed in the document wallet.. doesn't have the sony head unit though.. LOL..
