16v gearbox

is it worth putting a 16v gearbox in a 91 8v engine and is it difficult to do ?

You can swap over the GB easily.
16v box ratio's  = 1st 3.455 2nd 2.118 3rd 1.444 4th 1.129 5th 0.912 FD 3.667
What code GB do you have currently?

Might need something to compare them ratios to. Probabably doesn't mean a lot to the op at the mo.

only difference between 8v & 16v box is a longer 5th gear on 8v (better for motorway cruising) also you'll need a 16v clutch as the input shaft is bigger than the 8v box

so is it worth doing NO
