Heat gun on grey plastics

It works brilliantly and I'm now back to black. How long does it last though

Not as long as bumper paint, it will fade in time

Surely bumper paint will just crack and peel off.

Should not do if done properly.  Same as having anything sprayed.  U would not expect ur paint off car to crack and peel

That Edd China guy off wheeler dealer uses it to restore plastic trim etc lol.  Its specially designed to go

onto bumper trim etc.  So far so good anyway.  We will see!

I would if i sprayed on top of 17 year old textured plastic.

It has to be prepared first mind, u dont just spray on.  :smiley:

I take it you gave them a good going over with thinners first as for a car of that age it would of had plenty of back to black and other stuff used on it over the years wich contain silicone. And paint does not take well to even the tinyest bit of silicone.
