Photos from back in the day...

I found these photos - proper film photos...remember them?  :grin:

Anyway...this was my 1993 8v, taken in 1996 when I had just bought the first set of 17" BBS RXs that had arrived in the UK.
Avo coilovers, BBS RXs, Anni red badges & stripes, Hellas, 16v roof mount aerial and blanking plug, Remus cat-back, Bonrath cold air kit and AmD re-map.







Jeez....this was 16 years ago!!!  :shocked:

16 years later...I still have a Satin Silver 5dr GTI with BBS wheels!  :grin:

Ahh...well...the one I have now is the one I couldn't afford in 1996...so I convinced my old man he *needed* to buy the 16v Anni and look after it until I could afford to buy it off him.
So I bought his 8v from him and made it look a bit Anni like...until I could prize the Anni from him.
