suspension question

looking at buying a suspension kit 2nd hand but need to know if my car takes GTi suspension?
My car is the 2.0 Avangarde Cabriolet.

Your car is a lot heavier so only buy cab suspension as the spring rates will be different

Just make sure its a name you've heard of and all leak free and in good condition.

oh i see! its a G Max kit springs and shocks from an 8v gti. didnt know if it was the same set up. guess not. thanks

Whilst it will fit all the spring rates are wrong, the rear on the cabrio is a lot heavier due to the weight of the hood.
