Tyre stretch advice.
« on: 28 August 2012, 14:06 »
Ok I now have a set of 15" 8j wheels with an offset of ET20 front and rear to go on my 1985 jetta.
It's going to be tight on the arches so what size tyres do I get fitted for abit of stretch but also safe to drive?

Just been quoted a very good price on 185 45 tyres. Any good?

They look fine buddy, wouldn't bother with stretch as such, just a 'straight wall'

Quick update on the rims. Tried 2 of them on one side to test clearances and I think they look really good. Have to roll the rear arches abit and rais the back a tiny bit.
Once I FINALY manage to undo the grub screw on the coilovers.
