what about a small mesh you'd find on a baking sivv? cut a section out to fit and Bobs your uncle

Anything along the cheese grater idea should work.

Enough to slow down the vapour, big enough to never get sucked up.

Alternatively, don't be tight and buy a Saiko  :tongue:

I'd be quite happy to purchase one, but then, it's not actually "broken" so to me, I don't see the point of replacing it just yet  :smug:

mine catches quite a lot every few weeks i have to empty it as it gets quite full infact its starting to piss me off now how often it needs emptying  :grin:

Believe Awesome GTI do one, with stuff inside it, for roughly the same price and obviously no hassle trying to import the Saiko one..

Scouring pads and wire wool were both advised against previously as there is the possibility that they could break down and end up going round your turbo.

You don't want this to happen.
