I didn't know that, i thought the galaxy had a duratec..

That was the 2.3 also they only fitted the 1.8t to the Seat and Vw versions, all the diesels were VW I believe.

The 2.3 was a four banger though, i thought the v6 versions were duratec.

Nope it would not fit, as VW designed the Galaxy / Sharan and Alhambra to use the narrow angle VR engine.

Learn something new every day.. although that does make sense as the galaxy etc does have a fairly blunt nose.

I had a pipe split on my VR - VW wanted £150 for the whole unit.. Ford however only wanted £20 for the pipe..
