Oil light flashing...
« on: 27 August 2012, 19:11 »
Hi people, I found today that I had an oil leak, turn out to be coming out from the plug just on the right of the engine down from the rocker cover. My question is my oil light wasent flashing before but now i have taken a sensor off of a ADY and put it in my AGG and now it's flashing, would the sensors be different? Hope this makes sense. Thanks Ben

And also found today that when it's at idle it doesn't flash but once it goes above 1000 revs it starts to flash... Any ideas. Ben

the plug in question is the oil temp sensor on the AGG.  Suggest you get the correct sensor for the engine and then see what happens.
You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.
