Mk2 flanges on a Mk4 gearbox
« on: 27 August 2012, 18:18 »
Hi all

I need to fit my 100mm flanges from my mk2 onto my Mk4 gearbox. Mk4 currently has a single Allen bolt in the centre but I think my Mk2 flanges are push fit.

What can I do? Just push the mk2 flanges in? Are they the same size?

Thanks

Yes you can, I have them fitted to mine. Not sure on part number but they are fitted to the mk4 1.8 20v non turbo engines if you can get a box

use output flanges from a corrado or mk3 vr6. these just slot in no worries, they dont bolt in like the mk4 items bit it not caused me any hassle. just make sure to give thrm a good hard hit to get them home
i think i love you.....
