Anything is better than the auto vr6  :lipsrsealed:
my manual 4mo would not have been  as we always drove it hard just to hear the noise

That's the problem I'm having now lol. Least I know I won't be doing that with a diesel engine  :lipsrsealed:

I get 56mpg on my commute pretty much every day in my remapped PD150, but itd down to how you drive it. Yesterday morning I only got 48mpg due to a heavy foot on the motorway :lipsrsealed:  Long term average was 52.6mpg over 4900 miles  With a lot of varied driving
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

The 140's are very good on fuel

They will easily do 45mpg all day long and more with a remap.

So that's the 2.0 tdi engine? Correct?

Cos I've seen a couple and like the look of them :)

And a cheeky remap would be in order

Would the remap help much with mpg? Or just power lol

Yeah 2.0 TDI

Remap takes them to 175bhp+

MPG improves as long as you dont hammer it and you dont have boost leaks etc etc

Everyone I've done has reported at least an extra 5mpg since the remap
