Finally managed to get the bolt undone to get the front pulley off, thanks to a bigass 1" drive windygun.
Got the block all painted.
Also managed to get the engine bay pretty much cleared out ready for removing the seam sealer, not a job im looking forward to as ive read so many people have started and wished they hadnt. Hopefully will get the help from a mate.

Started getting rid of the seam sealer and afew unwanted brackets tonight, not as bad a job as I thought it was going to be, few tight areas I can't get into but will get some smaller wire brushes to get in there.
I blew my grinder up the other night cleaning up the rear axle, not having time to get another yet I dismantled it to make my drill into a grinder, works pretty well just gotta watch the old fingers with no guard on it.



Got a coat of etch primer on all bare metal areas

Bit more done today, went and got some supplies last weekend to help remove the seam sealer, gas blowtorch really does help, think its all pretty much gone now just a bit of cleaning up to do after the angle grinder flings the stuff absolutely everywhere.
All bare metal areas have a coat of etch primer, just need to get on with welding a few bits up then i can get a coat of primer laid down. Rain stopped play for the day tho. 







Got the head all masked up and painted. Starting to look alot cleaner.

What ITBs are you going to be using? Been thinking about them for alooooooong time!

Cheers, they are from a bike from my work 45mm so should be upto the job.
Theres a serious lack of info about on itbing the VR, theres a few bits on vortex but most people tend to go down the turbo/supercharger route.

Yeah grant Motorsport where the only place I found that had done something like that to the vr6. Jenvey don't etc

I know there's not the most amount of room in the front but I was dissspointed I couldn't find a kit. Gareth spillars r32 vento looks and sounds awesome on ITBs!!

Yer I had seen that they do a kit, but heard mixed reviews about them as a company. I think Gareth originally used them but had a few problems.
I have been watching videos on YouTube of his car and can't wait to get this thing running,
