MK6 Wanted! 5 weeks in to search I need all the help I can get!

Hi All,

After selling my R32 and taking 6 weeks to find a near perfect carbon grey GTi it has unfortunately been written off.

I have so far been searching 5 weeks for its replacement and so far had no luck, and beginning to think it doesn't exist!

I basically want a 5 dr manual GTi, Monza's are a must as is MDI and I would prefer the front and rear factory park as my last one had it but I accept not many have this. Anything over and above is a bonus though I would like LED rears but I know I can retrofit if necessary.

Colour wise I would consider most colours except black and I am a little undecided on white but need to see a nice one in the flesh.

Budget is around £18k and I would like under 30k miles and around a 10 plate I suppose.

So being plate change time I am hoping some of you can give me a heads up if trading in etc or selling up.

Cudnt seem to find 10 plates which are none back with the spec you wanted...

Most are DSG though and the top a 3dr although it has got lots of toys and is close to me.  Been to look at several but a couple had paint repaires that where shoddy, others has so much marring and swirls on the paint they mjust have been washed with sandpaper!

But it has already had two owners which puts me off a bit. Its also on long life servcing which I don't want but could change. Any one know of a way of telling if a car was a demo?

How important are 5 doors? There's a 3 door 10 plate in white with good spec under the classifieds section of this forum - link;

Looks really nice and has pretty much what you're looking for, spec-wise, plus the added bonus of xenons and a sunroof. The mileage and price fit your criteria too.

Looked at that but going to need 5 doors and think I'd regret it if I didn't get them this time.
