golf mk3 gti cutting out

I have a 1996 golf gti mk3 8v 2 litre I started getting problems 2 weeks ago when it started choking took it to the garage they replaced ht leads and sparks and dizzy cap including the rotor arm collected the car and it cut out took it back to the garage and they replaced the crank shaft censor cable I collected the car and it cut out again ! Took it back to the garage and they said the dizzy had gone so brought a new one the garage re timed the engine and fitted the new dizzy collected the car again and its still cutting out !! Called the AA out and they said they carnt figure it out its starting up fine and 5 mins later starts spluttering then it dies 10 mins later comes back to life for about 2 mins then cuts out again I've been told it could be a number of things but just wondering what ? The ignition coil pack has been tested its also had a new battery! HELP ME !! Also replaced ecu relay

try the fuel pump relay

Tried all the relays fuel pump is working and so are all the other relays  could it be the crank shaft sensor ?? What are the symptoms of that

The car starts up fine after leaving it over night but then after about 15 mins of driving it just dies sometimes it won't start back up until after an hour or so when everythings cooled down

have you tried a diffrent coil pack?

turns out to be a crank shaft sensor shes running beaut now
