Looks pretty good to me, not so different to the mk6 that the older model suddenly looks 10 years out of date!
Optional 19" swastika alloys an interesting choice!
I half expected the cloth seats to have a honeycomb print on them though, maybe the lightweight version will get that.
Good (conservative) effort VW, it'll no doubt get the usual comments of 'boring' from those that would never have intended on buying one anyway in the pistonheads type forums.

I like it. Hopefully the R pics will be available soon. See what you mean about the wheels! Not sure about the footrest cover either but that's just me being anal.

Yeah i like it. Seems like a natural progression to me. Will be interested in seeing what the R looks like. Will hang onto mine for another 2yrs min.

I like how the interior is all thort of driver in mind but like Ginge I'm not a fan of that footrest....and tbh im not loving the revised front bumper, maybe it will grow on me...and again the revised monzas a grower for me also...

I also like the wheels ... a bit of a play on the Monza style

I doubt we'll get the footrest in the UK ... would be a first if we do  :grin:

Its ok but i would have to see it in real life. I like the interior but i don't like the electric parking brake. Also from that photo the centre concel maybe bigger making less leg room for taller people a common complaint about modern cars a mate has.
