I don't even know what that means. What is wrong with a normal sump?

It is a sump with baffles in it. The idea is to stop oil starvation on hard cornering.
I have a Jabbasport baffled sump.
What do you intend to do with your 300bhp? If you are going to be doing trackdays etc then it may be a good idea. If its just faster normal driving or straight launches, it may be a little overkill.

Far more likely to suffer from oil starvation problems on a long high g corner than straight line acceleration. My 20vt started knocking after suffering oil starvation on the track which was why I had to rebuild it. But on a normal gti the handling will be the first barrier before oil starvation.

If it is serious track driving and handling sorted, probably worth getting instead of risking it and ending up like rockmonkey did and needing a rebuild.

For serious / track use then yes it would be worth fitting.

Cheers lads
I'm in the middle of making up the baffles but they were pissing me off so I just wanted to make sure I needed them or not

Be more worried about oil temp than a baffled sump.
