Someone coont has thrown a beer bottle at my windscreen from a moving car it looks like from the road angle. Why are some people such dicks? 

How much for a new screen roughly through excess?

fook me mate, I really don't understand why people do this kind of thing! My MK4 got egged just over a week ago. It's burnt into my paint and chipped the bonnet because the shell was on there all day in the sun. I'd be furious if I went outside to find that one morning

But like already said, check your policy notes for what the windscreen coverage is on your insurance.
