People also have to bear in mind that these badges are not just for disabled drivers, it's for disabled passengers.  For example, If my other half was disabled but couldn't drive, we could have a badge so that I can park nearer to things for her convenience, is that correct?

Just got an Email from East Mids Airport, a fine for £100 for simply pulling over, and double checking the car park location on the provided ticket, probably stopped for about 15 to 20 seconds in a no stopping area, that I was unaware of at that time
In the wrong, technically, yes, but where is the discretion/common sense, when you need it, I was simply being courteous to the people behind me
It would seem like a very easy way for them to make money!
