« on: 17 August 2012, 22:56 »
well my car is groaning. needs two new engine mounts, water pump is on its way out and cambelt change.

plus possibly a tranny or differential seal.

save or retire the car? just passed mot last month. funny how everything was ok durin the test and now is starting to show its age....,

i estimate it will cost about 150 in parts...,,plus labour....

Go to flickr.com and look up vwgolfcl1996 no change in the cosmetics of the car. Bew cat back exhaust put on, new front tyres and one new vacuum hose. Otherwise no change....:)

Most mk3's are but still have plenty of miles ahead of them, personally i'd only give up on mine if the bodywork was beyond saving....and even then.........
