39.6 mpg AGU

Best iv ever seen in 5 years of owning it. Only a 5 mile trip in 4th gear doing 40-45 mph.  :smiley:
Could of hit 40.0 mpg put got to mc donalds.
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

i know.  :wink: good for a agu. I used to be doing 19.2 mpg - 29.8 mpg.

So how did it shoot up from 30 to 40? Just from drivin like an old granny or did you replace something?

I rarely get above 25, that's in both of my agus.

I'm currently averaging 24.8mpg on the total (number 2) with an average of 13mph  :cry:

I reg get about 31mpg (AUM) everyday going to work av speed of about 40MPH best I have had so far is 41.9 5th gear steady 60MPH for 20 mile drive.

ive had 46mpg once and that was driving like a dead person, bearly touching the throttle and keeping under 1500rpm lol.
My Golf GTi, RS4 reps 17", coilovers, tinted windows, De-cat and middle box removed with 3" oval back box, stage 1 Revo re map, G60 flywheel/VR6 clutch, HID kit, Forge 007p,

Bummer :lipsrsealed: Mines sat at 52.7MPG @ 52MPH over 4960 miles :grin:

Not sure. Went down mad mile. :evil: Mybe it needed a good flooring and cleaned itself out.
Yeah i had to drive slow after that ,in a 40 mph speed limit. Just hope it stay doing almost 40.0 mpg or better.
