New to the site and new to VW

Hello everyone,
                   I'm new to this site but i have just got myself a golf GTI 1.8T 1999 for the bargain price of £800 needs abit of a clean up but still pulls and run's like a train :grin: everything work's every the air con has just been re gassed by me and is working :)

Here are a few quick pic's i have taken to show you guy's what "tidying" up needs to be done.....

In exactly the same position as you mate! just bought a mk5 gti. Never been on a forum in my life. Not got a scoob what to do. Im not sure how to upload the pictures yet or id show you mine!

Wow, are these really getting that cheap now.... I'm half tempted to get one just for the sake of it, Looks nice too.

Any plans for it?
