Personally Just think of the effort that has gone into this car, I know I have only had my mk4 a few months and I have already spent well over a grand sorting ht little bits out here and there. She is coming along nicely and apart from my 17055 error or whatever it is shes running like a dream.

Maybe you could keep her by compromising on other stuff, I know if you car was mine to see it go would just kill me.

Best of luck pal.

agreed this is a qaulity bit of kit you have and if you stripped it down, cleaned and sold seperate you'd make more on it...or just take off the extras, revert back to normal and sell it as a second hand as well?

from looking  how tidy it is. it would be such a shame to sell up.. ive got a idea rent a cheap garage. or if you have space... keep it for a few years till your wage becomes better, buy a 1.0 polo, corsa some 200 quid banger then do bits to the golf and bring it back out once you can afford too!
