I had classic insurance with nothing like this. Just have to be aged 25 years or older and the car has to be 15 years or older and with limited mileage. Mine was very reasonably priced as well.

I've just gone with Fluxdirect(adrian flux) ltd to 7000 per year, no other car needed, premium was £280 for the year. Mk1 Gti.

Cheers, Andy.

looking into getting classic insurance on my mk2, been told you have to have another car policy to have a classic policy, is this true?

We can offer classic policies and limited mileage modified policies. Both of which would not need you to have a second car.

Having a second car would give you a discount but it is not essential.

If you wanted us to provide a quotation please drop me a PM with your contact number and desired time then i'll call you personally to run a quick quote.

I used to have a MK4 Golf GTi (now driving Octavia VRS) so i'll always try and help a fellow VAG driver where possible

Best Regards
