I paid £1900 for for golf vr6 with hi spec 4 pots, wietecs, eibach front and rear ARB, strut braces, schrick inlet, schmmel cams been resprayed etc etc!

so £2500 for a 2.0 gti is a bit steep!

And who knows what is hidding below them plastic! min has been resprayed and water has still got back under them killed the sill :(

Your sill aint that bad!! have a snickers & wire brush it back, then underseal it right!!  :wink: :laugh:

Buy something else other than a Mk3 as they all have rot, the ones that dont are not for sale or priced above what they are worth as a commodity.

Opinions people what would you do?

Ok I have 2 cars I can't decide between
8v burgandy 3 door with full service history
Full years MOT very clean totaly standered. But I have coilys ready for it.

Or a very clean red 8v colour concept with the red and black leather interior
On Jom coilys but only has MOT till nov.

i would like a 16v but i no 8v,s like th back of my hand now. and like the simplicity of it and how easy it is to work on. plus how much more fuel do 16v.s use compared to the 8v?
