I did one in Newcastle in 2006, i only had to pay £50 and im sure it only lasted about an hour and a half.
In mine it was all about stopping distances but also just watched a load of videos about crashes. they asked who speeds in a 30, 40 etc and we had to put our hands up. at the end he said 'so now lets see who will speed in a 30' and still people put their hands up!  :undecided:
bloody waste of time. if people are going to speed they are going to speed a few videos from the 1980s wont change peoples minds.

True dat! Because people know if they get caught again, providing it's only around ten percent over the top, they can just attend another course.

My bro has just been on his third course in two years and he already has 18 pts. Twice he has had to plead mitigating circumstances in court and twice it's paid off! Jammy twit....

did one of these back in april after i got caught by a speed camera doing 33mph in a 30mph im such a speed demon lol but the course was ok and better than any points although to me it did seem silly but lesson learned dont get lost in Newport

33 in a 30? that's a joke...

It's no joke, it's above the limit. Your speedo will be showing you at over 35, so you know damn well you're speeding, so to be honest it's the driver who's taking the piss if they think being told you're 3mph over is a joke.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

If you believe in persecuting motorists for being 3mph over the limit then you are entitled to your opinion...

But you will be in the minority....

A limit is a limit, everyone knows of the limit.

Is there a rule that you have in your work place or home that you'd be happy for me to come and flout? Or is it simply when it suits you?
