Get a fine/very fine sanding block from halfords

Youll be there for hours with a fine sanding block. Use the lowest grit you can. Then go finer up to your desired finish

If its anything like doing the handles it will be fine ! I wouldnt go attacking it with 80 grit though

Make sure when sanding down always rub in the same direction. Have seen some people make a real mess of doing it.

what colour do you think is best to spray it all want a oem look?

You don't need to spray it just start with sone sand paper and rub it through to you get to the alloy but always go in the same direction.  If you look at the real r32 trim the sanding marks are always up and down so to speak of.

I did mine with 60 and worked up to 800. It's just to get the coat of plastic off which can be tough. As I found!

do you have any pictures of the finished product? did you rib back and forwards in the same direction
