I love the angled side stance and the rear stance of this car, it looks so menacing.

Have you got any videos of the sound of it?

Also love the wheels, looks like it could handle some 20" rims to fill those arches. What size are those wheels, 18"?

I haven't got a sound clip of the car since it had the exhaust fitted, but I will try and get one sorted.

The wheels are 18x8's

Nice one fella. Try and get inside a big open room, so the sound waves don't get carried away

Today the R went on a hub dyno, supposedly the most accurate way to directly read WHP and wheel torque on a car. The car was done in FWD mode for reference.

313.9whp & AFR at 12.5

Wheel torque at 333.5lbft

Did you get a time of a 4wd launch? No wheel spin if all bolted to the hubs right?  :undecided:

Also...Hate to be thinking negatively, but if this is bolted to your hubs then you won't have any friction of the wheels, correct? So would this lead to an over read on the power figures?

...Just got me thinking.

Just bought all the bits I need to sort out the suspension.

Ordered/stashed ready to go on......

Bilstein B16 PSS10's - had these on the Golf ED30 and they were superb.
Whiteline heavy duty droplinks - a new addition not tried before, but worthwhile as the R is heavy.
Powerflex full polybush front and rear kits - Takes the remaining slack out of the suspension and last much longer than the OEM saggy rubber ones.
Whiteline Anti-lift Kit - Help my launches a little more.
H & R Front and rear ARB's - Should help me get a little more oversteer in the car and cut out the car leaning in cornering.
THS engine mounts - will keep the engine stable under load, so no rocking engine and better transmission of power to where it should go....the wheels.

Booked in for fitting next week.

Also being fitted is the Devil's own Water Methanol Injection kit. Twin point injection system. Should get me over the 400bhp barrier as per the thread title......at last!
