« on: 14 August 2012, 20:52 »
hi all. ive just sanded down my alloys and put autotek etch primer on them. i think im going to put a matt black finish on them or should i put lacquer on? anyway what i wanted to know if i decide to go for a matt finish do i need to go over it with a fine wet and dry sandpaper to give it a final finish or leave it after spraying it?

This,

Etch Primer, then Primer (5 or 6 coats, then flat carefully with 800 trying not to rub through to the etch primer) Then paint, once you have Matt paint on, the last coat is the finished article, do not rub!
