« on: 13 August 2012, 11:47 »
Ive had a look through the site and done and few searches. I can find info on how to remove clocks etc and change LEDs and so on, but cant find exactly what im after.

My MFA doesnt work at all, it doesnt display anything.

Where do i start guys?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Could be the LCD Display, or the contacts between it, or the actual control circuit,  to be honest, other than cleaning the contacts and a visual check of soldered joints, theres not much you can do other than replace the dials, its easier on the long run.

Ive tried replacing mine with known working unit and its a simple job but the lcd's are fragile so the new one broke on removal. Give it a go as they are cheap on ebay or try and find a unit with the same mileage. I cant find any close as mines on 51k! i would suggest removing one first as not all clocks are the same and part nos are stamped on the back.

Thanks for the replies guys.

So, you swapped over the little LCD screen as opposed to whole dial?

Ive had a look on ebay and had a similar prob, mines got 81k on the clock.
