Hi guys, does anybody know what colour the trigger wire is for the fuel pump. we stripped the inside of our car out completely to repaint it. As we've started putting it all back together, we can not get it to start. nothing is wrong with the wiring into the fuse box, except the fuel pump trigger. The coil has no power to it and neither does the dizzy. All the earth points on the car are good and clean. We did take the old immobilizer out, because of some bodgery. Could this be our problem?  :smug:

Got the fuel pump relay in?

Provided the immobiliser has been removed cleanly and all is back as it should be this won't be your issue.

Earth from the head to the coil in place?  It's the cause of many fried ECUs.  :grin:

fuel pump really is sweet, immobiliser was removed cleanly, earth was attatched :/ i am miffed now, tried a different ecu and get the same result  :undecided:

Hi just a quick suggestion . Have u tried a new ignition module . I had one go on my mk 2 . ?
