Weekly commute - total miles !

If i work 5days then its about 70 miles a week, if 6 days then about 85 a week. I used to only use the Mk2 2 of those days, which meant i only did about 1500 in the Golf in the whole year!

40 miles a week for me, would love to cycle but a) i have to wear shirt n tie so would need clothes to change into and a shower.... b) I've been run over by a shogun and don't fancy a rematch 
I do park next to a river which sets the MK3 off nicely, may even use it to beat the traffic

it's one of the good things about the island, you're never that far away from your place of work. The downside is the lack of fuel economy

It's only a 9 month contract, so I'm just gonna stick with it then if I get put on a permanent contract and diesel daily will have to happen!
