Galaxy S - cyanagenmod 9 now available

Nice to see these guys have written an ICS based version for those still stuck with the SGS, it's more than Samsung themselves have done lol

might stick it on later after a full backup and see what it's like

ICS is great and CM9 is fantastic, I'm sure you'll love it

Last of my apps being restored after a massive cull lol

All seems good so far, a lot smoother than any other ICS version I've had on here

Only one glitch I've found - the low space icon popping up when I have masses of space left on all partitions

See if it's been reported already, if not report it and hopefully it'll be patched.

just found the reason...

can't explain it properly myself but it's to do with the datadata folder being filled up with cyanogen stuff then adding programs like Firefox or Chrome that use the folder for some of their stuff. Just uninstalled Firefox, no low storage warning

There doesn't seem to be any concrete ways round it yet but as long as it holds out till my upgrade in November, I'll be happy

Daily mail online has now been sacked off in favour of BBC news, it was hogging 88mb of space in the datadata folder! Now running a lot better
