GTI Stolen
« on: 10 August 2012, 20:28 »
Hi guys..

Didn t post for a while but my GTI although not white, was stolen last night.....

It was a lease car but me and my wife are as upset as if it was my own car...actually I always treated it as my ow,n car...

Anyway i have to wait a month before ordering...

I WILL ORDER EXACTLY THE SAME CAR SO IT WILL LOOK AS NOTHING HAPPENED...

Okay I treated myself to pick xenon and park assist and the little bit of extra options I did not pick the first time....

Just wanted to share this with you lot...because you lot have the same mind set...a GTI is simply more than just a car...

Hi the "old" one was 2 years and 4 months but looked showroom-new !!!

It was stolen from my drive way just meters away from my bedroom window which is always open.

They stole it completely without noise in the middele of the night...probably they have read my key in a radius of 100 meter.....

I have to wait 30 days....in the mean time i have an order in the waiting in which I have ticked all the boxes meaning everything possible I have ordered....you name it I have got it incl my ABT again...I must say in the psycological department it is the way to go after such a horrible event

Sorry to hear that your GTI was stolen but pleased you have ordered another rather than moving away.
Current: GTI Edition 35 Candy White 5dr DSG 19" Glendale, RCD510+DAB, Dynaudio, Storage Pack, Parking Sensors

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro
For those that dont know DSG is an electronically controlled dual-clutch multiple-shaft manual gearbox
