Unlocking Boot
« on: 10 August 2012, 17:16 »
Hello,

My golf has a stuck lock barrel for the boot, I've read that I have to take the boot card off which i have done. Now I can't seem to get the boot to unlock now that i've got access to the lock mechanics side of the boot lock.

The barrel lock is stuck in verticle position with the central locking rod trying to push up

Any help would be appreciated

I've now fixed the boot, the central locking locks and unlocks the boot. However the lock barrel is still stuck on verticle.

Thanks for the link, I'll remember that in future

Is the lock barrel line on verticle? and there is something the boot handle should pull onto to open the door.. is that attached?
