Not sure, need to get some prices as I can't afford a huge amount but want something reliable. Been give. Motech tuning as a local company from a few vw and Audi specialists round here. He is charging £250 for a remap and expects around 245 out of it. Plus he guarantees silt for the time I own the car which I can't find any faults in that.

All I wud suggest is go to a well known and trusted mapper, £250 seems a bit cheap to me and I wudnt want my pride and joy in the hands of a cowboy(I'm not saying for one min that Motech tuning) are....all I'm saying is go with someone with a good track record and someone that wud be willing to help if something went wrong...hence why I said the Doc, he's a forum sponsor and mod and has a great track record and of course knows his stuff...

You might pay a little more(not much) but for the peace of mind of someone at the end of the phone IF something did go wrong surely wud be worth it!

Just think it thro pal, just consider the amount the car was and what cud happen if something did go wrong...I mean yes you might save a little on the initial remap but WHAT IF!!

Just my 2p's worth...

Hmmm, you have a great point albeit not well know on here I've heard some good things about the guy at motech. Might give a pm to the doc and see what kinda price he can offer.
