As title really, tempted to swap it for the V6

which is quicker standard? I have no plans to map my 1.8t so its not a option.

Whats the best it can do on fuel?

cheers

Remap the 1.8t and it will still be better on fuel.

The V6 is faster than the 1.8t and will make a nicer noise, however if it were me I'd just map the 1.8t.

I would but the car has done 130k and so far (touch wood) has been reliable and knowing my luck it will start to give up once I have mapped it.

A remap is not going to kill it, mine was on 120k and remapped fine.

I like the idea of having a 4mo, but i'd forever wish that I had gone the full hog n bought an R32! :undecided: When you tell people that you drive a Golf GTI, everybody knows what you are talking about; when you say that you drive a Golf V6 4motion, most people are like ...

R32 or GTI... No compromise

Mine does 32mpg all day long, and my Anni did the same.
