timing on a dizzy?

iv got a 1600 driver, and desperatly need to adjust teh timing using the dizzy

every1 says to twist it, but i cant, i think its a bit more complex, any1 know?

have you loosened the retaining nut and clamp underneath it?

It's probaly seized on. common prob.
Get a screwdriver and a hammer, be persistant it'll move in the end...

As Veedub8v says, you need to loosen the 13mm retaining bolt that clamps the 'C' clamp at the bottom of the distributer. You should then be able to rotate the whole body. Otherwise as JTM says it may well be siezed, especially if it hasn't been moved for a very long time. Bit of penetrating oil, WD40 or something similar and maybe some gentle encouragement should see you on your way :wink:
