« on: 05 August 2012, 18:35 »
Ive been away for a week and went to start my 8v gti which ive only owned for 2 weeks, but it took along time to fire up, it runs perfetly, and once started it starts fine, just strange it didnt start very well after it had been standing for a week.

If you've only had it for a couple of weeks it could be as simple as something like a weak / old battery that the previous owner never got around to replacing. The longer you keep the car the more you'll get to find out about how well it's been looked after and what sort of condition it's really in :)
