5 months without a single ciggy, patch or owt - today was the day i nearly cracked  :lipsrsealed:

Good work bud!

Hey Nick

I made the switch at the start of April and haven't had a regular cig since......

Stuff.......

Cheers
Toby

Cheers for all of that Tobz, I'm a convert and I've ordered the Riva kit from Vapeescape (plus a couple of juices to try). It's been a week without a proper fag and I don't miss them other than the first one of the day.

No, but at least I've cut the other 10,000 chemicals out!

Good for you. Honestly it is better to knock the whole nicotine sh!t on the head.
I've battled it for years, it really is evil

I've been smoking for 20 years so I know what you mean. So far this seems to be proving to be a good stepping stone. I'm already finding the smell of ash trays a bit off putting.

I've been looking into these e-cigs quite a bit over the past few weeks and have a couple of friends who swear by them so before diving in and buying an expensive kit I opte to try out a single e-lite cigarette last Saturday...
Anyway, I'm on day 6 of non-smoking and I've got to admit the e-lite has tied my over on a few sketchy moments of craving during the week but I'm by no means relying on it like I thought I might so fingers crossed I can carry on at this rate and not be smoking any nicotine at all within a few weeks time.  :lipsrsealed:

That's what i was trying to say before, there is no stepping stone, it's no different to alcoholism....

Have you tried champix? it will make you not want to smoke but can make you go a bit mental at the same time  :undecided:

Can't afford to go mental, already on anti depressants for my anxiety so this way at leas I get my nicotine fix, still can go outside for a break and don't go mental in the office.

The doctor won't give you champix then
I'm glad i'm off it, it was very hard for a while, but all of sudden it got easy.
The best way to do it is just take one day at a time, and don't take ANY nicotine  :lipsrsealed:
Despite what some people say, smoking will either kill you or ruin your health....
I don't want to take that chance..  :lipsrsealed:

Tobz,

You were so right bud. My new toy just arrived and despite it looking like I'm smoking something that's a cross between a tampon and a bong it's flipping amazing! Loads of vapour, awesome throat hit and then nice and smooth.
