How to stop interior rattles
« on: 01 August 2012, 21:01 »
While most of my golf is stripped to clean and repair bits and bobs, I'd like to eliminate the annoying rattles and squeaks I get whilst driving. Can anyone recommend a tape or something to sort it out? The most annoying rattles are coming from the door pin corner of the driver's door card and also from the side pocket of the same doorcard, from the driver's side seatbelt height adjuster, from the boot wiper mechanism/trim panel and from the sunroof. Is there any tape or foam I can use to create a tight fit between the panels to stop the rattling?
