Indicator Sticking
« on: 01 August 2012, 19:30 »
Hi. My indicators have started to stick on. It's been doing it on and off for a bit but has been doing it non-stop today. I thought it may have been the bulb but its doing both side. Basically it is just sicking on with no tick or flashing. Does anyone know what this could be and know how to fix it at all. Thanks in advance :-)

at a guess could be the hazard switch that has the relay for indicators built in.

Well thats when it first started a couple of weeks ago. I pulled up and put my hazards on and they were both stuck on. :-\

defiantly sounds like it is the switch is at fault if that's when the problem first occurred.

you could try contact cleaner as a temp fix on the switch but not sure if that would work, probably easier getting a new one from the dealers.

Sounds like your probably right.

By the hazard switch do you mean the actual button on the dash? If so, do you know how it comes out?

Thanks for the advice :)

aye it's the switch in the dash.

think i used two very thin flat head screwdrivers wedged into the switch then forced it out.
